Every plan, page and pixel will be expertly crafted to reflect your brand’s story. All of those other guys and their fancy buzzwords are just trying to impress you. Who you should be
Motivated, open-minded and passionate. We have the skills (and swagger) to help you bring your vision to life, but you have to be ready. Does that mean you need to know every brand trait, positioning statement and competitive advantage? Absolutely not, that stuff is our job. But you do need to be prepared for us to jump inside your head so that we can get to know every facet of you and your business. We firmly believe in the benefits of a collaborative creative process. No one knows your business better than you and it is our job to work with you to build your brand into something you are truly proud of. That being said, if you think you can do it on your own, we probably aren’t right for each other.

The Story (for those that like the sappy stuff)
I was in need for a photographer back in ’98 and met a talented young guy that went by one name: becker. We connected instantly, his work was fantastic and his charisma matched… but what was unavoidably obvious was that his branding did not. It was awful. Thankfully for him I couldn’t afford his photography, so we traded design for photography and four months later a brand was born.
Fast forward a decade… becker has been wildly successful as a photographer with a highly recognizable brand and I opened my own design firm, Reddoor Creative. Becker has been our greatest advocate, and his referrals have kept us very busy. One thing we quickly realized was that our custom design services were beyond the start-up photographer’s budget. I got in this business to help people, so to turn away all those photographers who needed our help has been tough to do.
My business parter, Erik, and I started to see more and more of a need for basic branding specifically targeted for entry level photographers. We would go to WPPI and collect a bunch a business cards and realize we had to do something. How do we raise the design standard for an entire industry? How can we make good design available for the masses? Simple, by creating tastefully designed template systems. In order to pull this off we knew needed a technology guru who understood design and could make this dream a reality. That’s where Paul came in… he’s our developer, who we work with on many other projects.
And so, RED was born. Now the entry level photographer that needs to look as professional as their images can do that without a huge financial investment. We decided to design a number of systems that were professional, yet still creative. Our compilation of systems is meant to cover a wide range of styles, and the personalities of many. We want to help people realize their dream of leaving the cube farm and turning their hobby into their career. Branding is an important ingredient in the recipe of success. Good design can be available to the masses… Ikea did it, why can’t we?
